Cavaso Farming has been owned and operated by the Toscan family since 1969. Over the last 50 years, we have seen three generations of farmers build the aggregation to now comprise of four farms in the Darlington Point area and six farms within the Coleambally Irrigation Area (CIA).
We have had a long association with irrigated agriculture and Cavaso Farming currently produces cotton, wheat, prunes, almonds and beef cattle.
At Cavaso Farming, we are passionate about working with the land and the continuation of sustainable farming in the area. Our management team is committed to ongoing education in agribusiness and strives towards a workforce that takes pride in their work.
In 2019, Cavaso Farming celebrated its 50 year anniversary. In this time it has seen the development of a cohesive operation with carefully thought out infrastructure, highly developed croplands and the procurement of state of the art technology.
Collectively we have seen many different crops, but since the region has seen the introduction of cotton and the local gins to facilitate, our cotton program has grown to become one of our primary irrigated rotations.
In 2017 Cavaso Farming was named the Monsanto Australian Cotton Grower of the Year at the first awards ceremony to be hosted in the Riverina.
Lead by Tony and Joyce, Matt and Daisy have been instrumental in further developing the properties and have been joined by there cousin James and more recently son Anthony to help manage the properties and grow the business.
